The founding organizations
The Société Ivoirienne d'Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie (SIORL) is the national organization bringing together ENT specialists from Côte d'Ivoire. It works to develop the specialty, promote continuing education, and improve ENT care across the country.
Founded several decades ago, the SIORL unites hospital practitioners, private physicians, and academics around shared goals of quality and medical excellence.
The Pan-African Federation of Otorhinolaryngology Societies (PAFOS) is the federating body of national ENT societies across the African continent. It brings together member societies from French-, English-, and Portuguese-speaking African countries.
PAFOS's mission is to promote ENT excellence across the continent, foster scientific and academic cooperation between African nations, and strengthen the capacities of African ENT specialists.

Message from the President of the Organizing Committee
It is with immense pride and deep honour that we invite you to the joint PAFOS & SIORL 2026 Congress, to be held in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, from 12 to 14 November 2026.
This event represents an exceptional moment for our African scientific community. It offers us the opportunity to come together, share knowledge, and strengthen the bonds that unite ENT specialists across our continent.
We look forward to welcoming you in Abidjan for this wonderful scientific and fraternal adventure.

The congress will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abidjan Airport, a 5-star establishment located directly at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. It features modern conference rooms, a plenary hall, and all the infrastructure required for an international congress.

La Société Ivoirienne d'Oto-Rhino-Laryngologie (SIORL) est l'organisation nationale regroupant les spécialistes ORL de Côte d'Ivoire. Elle œuvre pour le développement de la spécialité, la formation continue et l'amélioration des soins en ORL sur tout le territoire ivoirien.
Fondée il y a plusieurs décennies, la SIORL fédère les praticiens hospitaliers, les médecins libéraux et les universitaires autour d'objectifs communs de qualité et d'excellence médicale.
La Pan-African Federation of Otorhinolaryngology Societies (PAFOS) est l'instance fédératrice des sociétés nationales d'ORL du continent africain. Elle rassemble des sociétés membres issues des pays francophones, anglophones et lusophones d'Afrique.
La PAFOS a pour mission de promouvoir l'excellence en ORL à travers le continent, de favoriser la coopération scientifique et académique entre les nations africaines, et de renforcer les capacités des spécialistes ORL africains.
